~Our Front Porch Country Christmas~
With our love for all things vintage, we designed our front door wreath around a pair of antique boot stretchers.Attached to a fresh pine wreath from Costco, we embellished the metal boot forms with frayed burlap and matte satin ribbon.
Tassels are all the rage right now, so we decorated our boot stretchers with a tassel we fashioned from velvet & organza ribbons, burlap, crystal beading & strips of torn drop cloth.
We attached the tassel to a rusty bell & tied it to the wreath.
I get tickled every time I look at it!
Like whiskers on kittens, this has become one of our favorite things.
Merry Christmas from all of us at Continental Calliope!
We've decked the Halls & are anxious to share it all with you soon.

ReplyDeleteYou're amazing
ReplyDeleteThe endless possibilities of a childhood future, the surety of existence; all that we live for is now, this time, these people, this fun.The wave presses in, threatening to drown this happy past, but the music holds and more faces swim free, faces not bound in time. So it will be long time before diamonds are dethroned as Earth's favorite gemstone.Marilyn Monroe once said, "Diamonds are a girls best friend." It seems that being the hardest known material in the world may help grind down titanium alloy, but does not necessarily make the one you love to say, "I do." Or maybe it will? The Gypsies claimed to have dukes and counts among them, and later added captains and kings.
ReplyDeleteRight here is the perfect blog for anyone who wants to understand this topic.
