Feed Sack Pillow

The last time we were lucky enough to go to the Rose Bowl Flea Market, we picked up a vintage European feed sack with great nubby texture & a wonderful double red stripe. The perfect item to re-purpose, re-use & re-cycle!
We have two leather chairs in our great room that are so comfy, but we always wanted to add a small lumber pillow to each.
Tonight we did!

We are kinking up with the following great parties!
Trash to Treasure @ Reinvented
Get your Craft on @ Today's Creative Blog
Second time Around @ A Picture is Worth a 1000Words
The Knock Off Knock Out @ Its So Very Sheri
Be sure and check them all out!!!

Two of my faves....old grain sack pillows with the red stripe and I love that lumbar pillow with the piping..my second fave.
Great job!

Wow. I've been on the hunt for a grain sack fabric identical to that! Your pillows turned out fabulous, thanks for linking up!

Love it! It looks great in that chair - the nubby fabric is a good contrast with the leather!

You are not going to believe this but I have on my TO DO list of projects-a Knock Off of this fabric--as soon as I saw it I was shocked.

I will add this to my favorites post--

I need to watch for the feed sacks. I have not bought one to work with yet. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog site yet again. You made me smile when you talked about your gardening problems. We have a lot of sand and have to add a lot of compost and other matter or the ants would carry everything away!
